Twitter advanced search is a hidden gem. Most Twitter users know there is a search function on Twitter, and are able to find a user they’re looking for, or search for a topic or hashtag, but many Twitter users do not know how to do advanced and filtered searches to find very specific and relevant things, such as business leads.
Figuring out what to do for Valentine’s Day in Halifax is as easy as a quick search on Twitter. By limiting my search to the Halifax area, I found these great ideas.
It’s been a while since I blogged about finding leads on Twitter here in Halifax. I wonder if anyone is actually using this idea to find leads in their industry? I would love to know if monitoring keywords on Twitter is turning into business for you. For now, have a peek at some of the recent tweets local businesses could have jumped on. According to Twitter, every one of these happened “near me”, so that means 25 mile radius of Halifax, Nova Scotia.
